Happy Bear Motel

We had a great stay at the Happy Bear. It was clean, the staff is friendly, the room was quiet and comfortable and you can’t beat the location! It is centrally located on the access road, with several restaurants in walking distance and minutes away from the mountain.

The owner was accommodating and on site to keep a safe clean experience.

Was clean, nice, and affordable. Close to both Killington and Pico. No complaints!

Location is very convenient, close to supermarket and restaurants

Hotel is outdated and tired, furniture is old, dirty, and abused. Condition of room was poorly maintained, toiletries were few and of low quality, poorA nightly price greater than $70 is not worth it.

The location is fantastic. Right across the street from Jax, The Pickle Barrel and Sushi Yoshi, and a 2 minute walk to Casey’s Caboose. But the motel is very old and in need of updates. The bed however was pretty comfortable.

Small basic motel, very close to the mountain, close to shops and restaurants. In coronavirus time, fridge and microwave in the room are essentials. Nice and convenient

Very friendly staff. Quiet and very clean place to stay.

The guy at the front desk came to our room late to tell us to turn our music down and then reminded us that it was a non-smoking room. We were not smoking in the room! Perhaps a racist assumption. The coffee was terrible and there was nothing offered for breakfast (perhaps due to COVID). Also there was not enough shampoo and towels in the room for two people for two days. Otherwise our stay was good! Great location and very affordable!

Great stay. Friendly, flexible staff. Would definetly return.
