USOverall, the hotel was lovely. Incredible view. Friendly staff. The food was amazing. Rooms were clean. Pool area was very nice. However, this place had many children - families from Europe. Most used the pool during the day and were extremely loud. And then during the evening dining experience, since it wasn't a large place, the children were loud during dinner. The loudness became a theme of the stay. For a solo traveler, this was a bit annoying. If you aren't going to be around during the day and have your own transportation, this place is great. I did walk down to a local restaurant and to the beach - it was super quiet. The walk back up the hill is steep but not that bad.
We really enjoyed the stay for many reasons. We felt safe and welcome there.
The staff a excellent very friendly. Meals are cooked to order so on occasions you do have to be paitent!
