Water was not very warm to bathe but apart from that very nice and extremely friendly owners and staff
Quiet and comfortable atmosphere. Great view of the sea and mountains. Tamara (staff) was incredibly warm, helpful and welcoming. She ensured I had everything that I needed. The room was huge, clean and cozy and well maintained. I appreciated the peaceful surroundings. Hotel Champs is an excellent choice for travelers seeking an affordable, quiet stay. I highly recommend it!
CHThis place is really great...staff extremely helpful and sympathic. Ultra clean and comfortable. Located on a hill (very steep roads but this is standard in Dominica) above Picard, the southern part of Portsmouth city. View is amazing on the bay. Top WIFI and good breakfast. Small refreshing swimming pool.
Not that easy to find unless you got a map. Without a car I would not much recommend as the main road where buses are stopping is a good 10 minute walk down...but probably more up due to steep roads. On this road are lots of restaurants and food shops. I was quite surprised but my room did not get TV channels despite big flat screeen. Still, the very helpful lady working that day provided me her Netflix pass so I could watch movies. Also YouTube was available for some "live" watching.

The bathroom is outdated, the toilet flush was broken, it's quite overpriced for the quality but then I guess it's in a remote place.
Small hotel about 1 hour drive from airport and 1 hour drive to the city, it was an overall pleasant stay

Very authentic Dominican experience. Small boutique hotel with friendly staff. Would have loved to see fresh colorful paint to have the exterior and interior match the wonderful, clean and friendly environment we've experienced. Would definitely come back again
