Die Lage ist super um im Park wandern zu gehen.

Wir waren nach einem langen Wandertag ziemlich hungrig im Hotelrestaurant und wollten uns zusätzlich zum Menü eine Portion Pommes bestellen, da die Fleischportion mit nur drei Kartoffelhälften als Beilage sehr klein war. Uns wurde jedoch gesagt, dass es keine Pommes gäbe – während andere Gäste gleichzeitig welche als Take-away abgeholt haben um diese auf dem Zimmer zu essen (alles in Papkartion und Plastik verpackt wohlgemerkt sie sich als Sternehotel ausgeben. Das war schon ein seltsamer Start. Beim Abendessen fiel ausserdem auf, dass die Auswahl sehr begrenzt war. Besonders irritierend: An zwei Tagen hintereinander wurde exakt die gleiche „Suppe“ serviert, die von der Konsistenz eher an eine Vanillecreme erinnerte. Unser Zimmer selbst wirkte insgesamt stark in die Jahre gekommen. Der Tresor war nicht nutzbar (offenbar ohne Batterie bzw. bereits verschlossen), auf dem Balkon fehlten komplett Sitzmöbel und im Bad war der Boden beschädigt. Zudem war das Zimmer extrem hellhörig – im Flur lief nachts durchgehend Musik, die deutlich zu hören war. Dazu kam sehr trockene Luft die den Schlaf zusätzlich erschwert hat. Auch die allgemeinen Hotelbereiche haben keinen guten Eindruck hinterlassen: Die Dachterrasse, die sich eigentlich gut für einen Sundowner eignen würde, war zum Sonnenuntergang unbedient, und der Pool wäre zwar vorhanden, aber komplett leer und ohne Wasser. Im kleinen Hotelladen haben wir ausserdem Chips gekauft, die bereits im Februar 2025 abgelaufen waren. Insgesamt wirkt das Hotel leider, als wäre es in der Zeit stehen geblieben. Das Personal war zwar grundsätzlich bemüht und freundlich, konnte aber bei vielen Problemen nicht wirklich weiterhelfen. Fazit: Leider enttäuschend – mit einigen grundlegenden Verbesserungen haette das Hotel durchaus Potenzial.

Amazing location - 5 mins walk from park entrance. Great views from room, common areas, and breakfast. Healthy breakfast options. Helpful staff.

Room was a little snug. A gym, pool/sauna facility would have been nice as well.

1. The dinner menu at the Western restaurant was a pasta set, which was excellent. The restaurant was always ok. 2. Bedding The bedroom is neat. 3. They were making and selling Kensington beer that had never been seen before, and it was very good. It is said that it can only be bought at the Kensington Hotel, but it can also be purchased in Kensington, Yeouido. There are two types of ale and lager, and the aroma of ale is amazing. I only drank Budweiser, but I think I will only get Kensington beer for the time being... The alcohol content of ale is 6.5%, so it's a bit chewy... I quickly came up... I bought one lager in my room and drank it, but I think it wasn't good because I drank the ale first... Lager is 4.5%. Only 500 ml cans are available.

1. Not remodeled? Replacing toilet drains and ceiling corners... The floor by the window of the room is sloppily added with wooden planks, making it too indicative of partial repair. 2. No bidet. The height of the sink and toilet is too low. Intended for children? Adults have to bend over a lot. The room is small, so I don't think I will share it with children...?? 3. Overall, the ceiling is too low... It has a relatively cozy feeling. If you dare to look for advantages... 4. The heating on the floor was good, but it was too hot with central heating and the air was dry, so I couldn't control it. I had a ceiling system air conditioner, but I heard an explanation from the front desk that the heating could not be adjusted. 5. The worst condition is that there are several motor machines such as ducted air conditioners and outdoor units right outside the windows, and they run around all night and hum to sleep...

Établissement très sympa (même si un peu kitch) à distance de marche du parc. Le petit déjeuner est varié et copieux. Attention cependant, pour dîner, le restaurant n’est pas toujours ouvert. Vous devrez donc soit vous déplacer vers une autre ville soit commander leur dîner à emporter (que vous pouvez manger dans votre chambre ou au 9e étage).

Le personnel ne parle pas très bien anglais (mais ils font leur possible) Le restaurant n’était pas ouvert pendant notre séjour.

Das Frühstück und die Lage des Hotels waren toll.

Check in hat lange gedauert. Es müsste einiges renoviert werden. Das Restaurant war geschlossen obwohl einige Gäste da waren.
