Windermere Park B&B inc Free off-site Health Club

I spent almost one hour to find this hotel when I got nearby, the hotel actually name is a little different from the name on booking! I asked the service man , he just told me to search the address code into Google map, but actually the route on Google map was not accurate for this hotel ! At last I just asked one person who was walking dog nearby, he showed me the location. The facilities is just normal, I didn’t have different experience. I have noticed the outside door need to close for security, but when I got up early, the door was open, probably they forgot close it. I didn’t see any service person for the whole stay. The restaurant is very small, but you can also asked for hot food, probably this was the oily thing I was satisfied!

Bed mattress sagged in middle. Could only open 1 window and the curtains can’t be closed ( at least if trying by hand from standing close but on the floor.)

Location is great, rooms are comfortable, staff are very friendly and kind

Breakfast choices are quite limited but for overall price it’s not that big of a deal, room was very hot but again can’t really be helped during a UK heatwave, more ventilation would be ideal

There are no staff after 17:30, the room was not very clean when we arrived, but we could not point out this issue at the time because the staff left the premises. A cigarette filter was in the bathroom when we arrived. If you need anything after 20 hrs, you can call them but you can be charged £20 at their discretion. The tea, coffee, towels and toilet paper were not replenished during our stay, so we ran out of milk and finished with almost no toilet paper. They charged £15 extra per night per dog friendly room for cleaning, but they did not clean the room during our stay and they did not provide us with a refund. The dog friendly room is at the very top of the building, which is not ideal. The staff were defensive when these issues were pointed out during check out.

Good location. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed and pillow. Dogs friendly. Breakfast dietary needs catered to.

Noisy person in the room next door(we ended up buying some ear plugs). Little choice for gluten/dairy free.

Preis / Leistung unschlagbar gut. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Lage zentral. Der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Gästehaus war riesig.

Das Hotelzimmer war in die Jahre gekommen und könnte eine Modernisierung hier und da gut vertragen

Good location with decent parking. Decent room and nice breakfast. Badly need to invest in a new toaster?Enjoyable stay with good nearby eating choices.
