"Clean room. Good location. Mixed staff attitudes."

Room with Mountainview ok and clean. Petra helped us book a whale watching tour and when we asked if we could have a late checkout due to a late flight she said room was already booked but we could stay and use facilities until we were ready to leave. At Breakfast another lady served us(name began with M). when we asked for more than 1 slice of toast each she was most put out and said if we really wanted it she could do some more but wasnt the 2 slices enough? We went on our whale watching trip then back to the hotel to check out. We put our bags in reception and used loungers by the outdoor pool. M made us feel unwelcome and kept asking when we were leaving. Why don't we go for lunch or what time were we being picked up. We told her Petra said we could use facilities until we were leaving around 2.30. She said she didnt want us there when the new guests were arriving at 2pm and asked us to take our bags. Very disappointed with her attitude and making us feel unwelcome. Location good.

Wir erinnern uns gerne an unseren Aufenthalt in der Lavender Manor Guest Lodge. Die freundliche Atmosphähre und das liebevolle Personal hat den Aufenthalt abgerundet. Wir haben sehr gute Tips und Empfehlungen erhalten. Von der Lodge kann man in 5 Minuten zum Grotto Beach laufen. Da ist einer der schönsten Strände, die ich kenne. Dort gibt es auch einige gute Lokale. Vielen Dank für die angenehme Zeit!

A lovely place to stay a bit out of Hermanus town, with good restaurants and the absolutely beautiful Grotto Beach in close walking distance. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast was made with love, both adding to the perfect stay for the last days of my South Africa travel. Thank you to my hosts at Lavender Manor Guest Lodge!
