Close to the beach

The unit had no view, was dark, uninviting, no ventilation and the main bed's mattress was rock hard. NO window that can open in main bed either. Could not sleep with main bedroom patio door open, as patio is open and directly adjacent to the parking area.

"Lovely B&B in Hermanus"

Stayed at Lavender Manor for one night during a business trip in October. I stayed in a Luxury Seaview Suite. The staff was friendly and the check in process was smooth. It was a spacious room, nice bathroom and beautiful view over the Atlantic. The breakfast was very good and check out was also very smooth and friendly. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to people that enjoy a bit of luxury away from home.

Lage in Fußnähe zum Grotto Beach, solides Frühstück mit leckeren selbst gebackenen Brot uns Brötchen; ruhige znd sichere Lage, schöner Gemeinschaftsraum mit Blick auf's Meer; geräumige Suite

Wir hatten die Deluxe Familiensuite - und waren echt enttäuscht. Die Suite ist eher dunkel und hat keinen Ausblick (man schaut auf den Parkplatz oder auf die etwas lieblos gestaltete Terasse hinter der Suite oder in den Vorratsraum.). Die Beleuchtung hat weitgehend die Qualität von Neonlicht, was zusammen nit der grauen Wand und dem grauen Fußboden eine ungemütliche kalte Atmosphäre erzeugt. An einigen Stellen zeigt sich Renovierungsbedarf (Farbe an Wand und Zimmertüren blättert ab). Die Fotos auf Booking.com sehen wesentlich besser und vor allem heller aus als die Realität.
