Beautiful property, from the welcome, how the staff treated us. Rooms were exceptionally nice and clean. Little things for the kids. The staff at breakfast going above and beyond

"Mooi hotel met een ongeziene service!"

Het hotel was super service minded. Onze huurwagen werd op de dichtsbijzijnde parking bij onze kamer geparkeerd (meerdere parkings op het domein). Onze koffers werden naar de kamer gebracht. Er was een shuttle dienst om naar het centrum van Franschhoek te gaan. Dit alles was inbegrepen in de kamerprijs. De medewerkers wilden zelfs geen fooi aannemen hiervoor. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid met een menukaart voor de warme keuken. Er waren ook andere ei bereidingen; niet enkel de klassieke. het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. het was een perfecte afsluiter van onze Zuid-Afrika rondreis.

Eigenlijk niets.

"Great location pleasant and friendly staff"

The accommodation was beautifully presented - and we were offered a free upgrade. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Angus the driver was great - the hotel is not far from the Main Street but a free shuttle is provided which was appreciated.

We had problems with the first night room 1 - the noise from a generator nearby made it frustrating but we were given a free upgrade. The Ops Manager was very helpful

The staff was very kind The room was quiet, the bed was very comfortable and the sleep was great

The property and rooms are extremely outdated, probably 20years old. Rooms are more 3 star despite being very spacious. The price does not reflect the quality at all. There is no mountain view as the rooms face the courtyard at best. There is a lot of potential in that property if some renovations will happen. Also there is a lot of plastic waste as they use tiny plastic water bottles.

"A wonderful, quiet retreat with friendly, helpful staff"

So pretty, wonderful gardens, Breakfast lovely, dinner amazing and the staff are so genuinely friendly and helpful. A huge bonus is the complimentary transfers to/from anywhere in Franschhoek ! You send a WhatsApp message and a driver is there in a flash!
