Acorn Lodge Hotel Gatwick & Parking

Pris + hjelpsom betjening som fikk oss på lokal buss til flyplassen. Den var veldig mye billigere enn taxi.

Annonsert transport var ute av drift. Hotellet ligger i ett veikryss og selv med lukket vindu ble det i overkant mye trafikk støy i løpet av natten.

Ideal location for airport. Local bus service was good for travel to airport if you are carrying light luggage. Hotel transfer recommended if carrying large suitcases.

The room was a small double, good for me as a solo traveller. The shower was good and toilet and sink. The room had a large fan, a fridge could be used, and the bed was very comfortable. TV adequate.

Parking difficult, the main car park was full! But managed ro park on the front one day and side roast overnight on the second. There is an indian resteraunt at the hotel but it does not have a bar! But I was directed to an excellent pub resteraunt nearby.

Room was clean and comfortable. Shuttle to airport was prompt and driven well.

It was noisy at night - people walking around upstairs and next door. I expect the insulation is poor. Breakfast was nothing much - limited cereals, Orange drink was too sweet and coffee pot was empty (tough it was replenished)
