Hotel Las Nubes Holbox

Review — Las Nubes (Holbox) Located at the far east end of the island, we came here mainly to enjoy the beach — and it was absolutely worth it. The beach access package costs 1200 pesos for two chairs, which includes 1000 pesos in credit for food and drinks. In the end, it’s roughly $7 CAD per person for the chairs and about $70 CAD in credit per person, which is a great deal. Drinks are affordable, and we ordered picanha (steak) with fries. The steak was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend the fries, as they weren’t very good. There are probably better options on the menu, but we decided not to order more food. We actually came here twice, because the beach is incredible. When we return to Holbox, we will definitely stay here. The location is far from downtown, so I recommend taking a golf cart taxi or renting bikes to get around. The service from the staff was excellent, and from this location it’s easy to walk to Punta Mosquito — about 3 km along the beach. I have rarely seen something this beautiful. Some people even said it feels similar to the Maldives. I highly recommend this place for the beach and the endless sandbanks you can walk on for kilometers.

Excellent experience, we will definitely return. The staff is incredibly attentive and super friendly, always making sure you feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, with a perfect location just steps from the water, which makes it ideal for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Breakfast is very complete and delicious, with a great variety of fresh options to start the day. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The location right on the beach was perfect, especially for the price!

The stay included a free breakfast which was good but the waiters were slow and our waiter served my son Nutella even after we carefully explained in Spanish that he has a severe nut allergy.
