Kanishka Villas

The location was really nice, next to a busy road but still in a quiet street.

A lot of things really needed renovation. Tiles in the pool were loose, doors couldn’t close properly.

Location was good, close to many restaurants.

Property is dated, misleading photos, not well maintained with worrying severely cracked glass ceilings just above villa pool. Small tvs that don’t appear to be capable of anything, only YouTube on bedroom tv and nothing working on lounge tv. Hot water didn’t work in bath and toilet kept making high pitched noises once every few seconds. The place definitely needs some maintenance work. Breakfast was included in the package but definitely not worth paying for- very bland unfortunately.

We recently spent 10 nights at Kanishka Villas in Seminyak, and overall, it was a great experience. The villa itself was spacious, clean, and private — exactly what we were looking for. Having our own pool was a major highlight, allowing us to unwind at any time of day without leaving the comfort of our accommodation. The location is also a strong point. It’s tucked away on a quiet lane, which gave us peace and quiet, yet it’s still just a short walk or quick drive from restaurants, shops, and the beach. We were able to explore Seminyak easily but always looked forward to returning to our little oasis. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful throughout our stay. They assisted us with transport, tour bookings, and any requests we had. Housekeeping did a good job keeping the villa clean without being intrusive. All in all, Kanishka Villas was a lovely base for our 10 days in Bali. We’d happily return and recommend it to couples or families looking for a private and relaxing getaway in Seminyak.

If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the maintenance of some facilities. Certain parts of the villa (like the bathroom fixtures) could use a refresh. That said, it didn’t take away from the comfort or enjoyment of our stay.
