The Vijitt Resort Phuket

We stayed here for a few days on our way to Khao Lak for my wife’s birthday. The resort set up is idyllic, but the rooms are tired and deserve a lick of paint and some every day maintenance. The team seem a little distracted and possibly not as enthusiastic as they could be. My main gripe, which is a big one is having to share the room with a rodent which left droppings every where - around the sink and tooth brush mugs seemed to be its favourite calling point. Despite several polite complaints to the team they were complacent to say the least and not at all interested in resolving the situation. I guess the one saving grace was that we were only there for four nights! Come on Vijit you need to try a little harder and then maybe you would have received a better rating.

We stayed here for 5 nights arriving by Bolt at the open sided reception area at the top of the site. We were welcomed , had our luggage taken, were given a welcome drink and our passports were taken to check us in. Friendly and efficient. We were then driven in an electric buggy to our bungalow- Number 27. It was lovely - large and well equipped with views towards the sea from the balcony. The only downside was the toilet which wasn't very powerful. The grounds were beautiful- lots of lush tropical vegetation and we saw a heron regularly plus geckos. There is a nice lawned area overlooking the sea with a swing . You can get a buggy to pick you up at any time if you're struggling with the steep paths although we preferred to get some exercise and walk. There is an infinity pool to lie around . We didn't use the restaurant set in the colonial style house but had breakfast at The Savoury. There is a glass room that is air conditioned but we preferred the open sided areas. Breakfast was good- apart from I would have liked freshly squeezed orange juice and bread cobs to be available. We ate there in the evening and found some items on the menu were not available . What we had was good though. We also had cocktails at the bar in the evening. We used the free shuttle to Phuket Town one day but it's as well to book a place early on the shuttle. It was full when we wanted to use it to go to a beach. We liked the fact that the resort was decorated for Christmas - and my wife loved the way the staff decorated the bed on her birthday. We would recommend.

Me and my wife keep coming back to The Vijit. They are like family to us. Not only do we spend our time there, we got married on the waterfront view. Khun Jean met every detail to our wedding. Would choose her everytime.Had the best night and they took special care of us.We will forever keep coming back to visit everyone and make more memories. Highly recommend

Omg... Where do I even start with this beautiful resort? We thoroughly enjoyed a family holiday with our two adult children. Our villas were so spacious, clean, and beautiful. The huge bathtub and outdoor shower were incredible. The housekeeping start did an amazing job of keeping everything clean and spotless each day. We especially appreciated the bottled water, coffee, and lemongrass mosquito repellent which was all provided. We definitely used the lemongrass spray every day! The front desk staff were all so friendly and accommodating. They were always available, whether we needed them to book a show or taxi for us, or a golf cart to pick us up. It was especially nice to meet Yew, who worked up front, and always greeted us by name, with a smile. We looked forward to the breakfast buffet at The Savoury restaurant each morning. The food was always fresh and delicious. We especially enjoyed the eggs which were cooked to order and the tea and coffee station. We drank delicious Thai tea every day. I would like to acknowledge the manager of the restaurant, Maria. She runs a tight ship and goes above and beyond to keep all of the guests happy. We also ate dinner at the Baan Vijitt, which serves the most delicious Thai food. I would highly recommend it. Apart from all of the delicious food and drinks, we enjoyed working out in the gym, swimming in the most gorgeous infinity pool, which makes you feel like you are actually swimming in the ocean, and walking around the beautiful grounds. I can't think of a better way to burn off the calories! We all were treated to massages at the V Spa, which was the best massage any of us had ever had. I also had an anti-aging facial, which I have never had, and would highly recommend. Thank you to all of the spa staff. You are all doing an amazing job. If you’re looking for a place to completely unwind, Vijitt Resort is the spot. It’s peaceful, authentic, and feels like a little world of its own—exactly why we come to Thailand! The whole place has a natural charm, and you can easily spend hours just chilling by the pool. If you can, go for a beach villa—they’re amazing. Just make sure to book way in advance because they fill up fast. A great choice if you want to relax and escape from it all!

The pictures are not reflecting the reality, the villa is contain old furniture which I believe need renew.

Property is dated and poorly maintained. There are on going construction and barriers surrounding some villas. The Villa lacks proper furnishings and are missing towers and lacks of essentials for such a hotel. Some restaurant staffs/ servers lack proper training and need better attitude when greeting guests.

I received a free 30 min massage but at the check out they charged me the massage. If I didn’t check the bill correctly it would be 1k baht charged …. A little bit disappointed on a fancy resort

The best place to have a private and quiet vocation, high class of service, great food and the most helpful stuff - Maria dining room, Eve bell boy, Nai from the kitchen are the best employees in our opinion! Beautiful place, never forget this vocation, just amazing! Thank you
