Bayfront Marin House

I loved the easy accessibility. The check-in and unloading our things was easy. Parking was clear and easy. Communication from staff was intentional and clear throughout the stay even when their texting was down they made sure to call about when the room was ready and each day's happy hour and breakfast. The staff was perfectly on-time each day with meals and happy hour treats. Our room and bathroom was clean with everything we needed. Most importantly to us was the fact that we had an almost unbeatable location. We were an easy 5 minutes walking distance into the lively part of town and all the restaurants shops and bars but somehow we were tucked away into such a quiet little corner. Would absolutely recommend this place.

I think the only thing we felt was lacking slightly was the couple's massage enhancement. The experience was extremely relaxed and lacked clear communication. It was definitely a one-size fits all experience. The convenience of it being at the B&B was nice but as someone who has been to a lot of nice spas around the country, if you're looking for a more elevated, tailored, and professional-feeling experience, I'd recommend spending your money just going to a stand-alone spa of some sort nearby.

We had a wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend this B&B. Both the beach vacation home and the downtown Sanchez house were perfect!

The location of the Bayfront Marin House is fabulous - out of the noise of downtown, but easily accessible with a short walk, and with a beautiful view of the bay, including the sunrises. Every single person I interacted with - the front desk, the people who delivered the food, etc were unfailingly kind and courteous - makes a vacation so pleasant!

The location is set apart so it's quieter which we appreciated.

The property pictures need to be updated. We were there years ago, and so much has changed. The bedding was changed to cheaper fabrics. The property isn't maintained well. It needs to be spruced up.

The room was lovely that was only high point. When we arrived. It was around midnight. There weren’t lights or directions to our room. We need to use our phone flashlight The first two nights it was quiet but the people who check in above us, you can hear their heels of their shoes on the wooden floors. Breakfast. Was brought to our room so never got to socialize with anyone The food was not great. Happy hour we had to register for. There was no warm or fuzzy from the staff member. She tried but she was new. St. Augustine was lovely little town. We will visit but not stay at this b&b again. We travel to Amelia where stay at the Hoyt b&b. Been there before and will go again. Rooms were fantastic breakfast fantastic owners made us feel loved and welcome to their family. So we will not return to the b&b in St. Augustine again.
