We stayed at the Hacienda room. It is separate building a couple of blocks away. A very spacious bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom with a wonderful fireplace at the foot of the bed. Location is fantastic. Only a very short walk to the historic section of town. Many restraunts and shops and bars just 5 or so minutes away.

I really had to work hard to find anything I didn't like. If I had to find one thing I wish was better, it would be the size of the shower. That is being very very picky. I took a shower in it each day and came out just as clean as a huge shower would provide.

So Downhill last visit. After staying at this once lovely #1 Boutique hotel in St Augustine I wouldn't give it 2 stars on any guide. I have returned to this B&B over 60 times in last 4 years and now will never return. They are only interested in group bookings and there is NO hospitality. Main hotel housekeeper Liz loud and on phone just as loud when cleaning adjacent rooms and confrontational with no remorse from new manager. Too many other choices to stay here.

We enjoyed a fabulous stay at Bayfront Marin House. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The location is prime at the water’s edge close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. I love how they text so you can order Happy Hour and breakfast. My favorite part was happy hour on the patio. The staff goes above and beyond and we had a truly wonderful stay. I highly recommend this accommodation and would love to stay again.

My wife and I, together with our grown children, make a winter sojourn to St. Augustine every year, and we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else! The proprietor and staff are warm and attentive, always making us feel so welcome. The accommodations and location are beautiful, and we love being right on the edge of all of the downtown action.

#19 Jose Simeon, in the Sanchez House: Florida colonial architecture and distinctive decor creates a lot of atmosphere. Unfortunately the experience is rather dependent on who one's upstairs neighbors are. In our case, we had young people above us whose thoughtlessness and lack of consideration manifested themselves in tremendous noise as they moved around above us performing what sounded like a demolition of their room, and waking us up in the middle of the night.

The people who do the work were exceptional. The breakfasts and happy hour were both special. Communication with the establishment was excellent. They kept us informed about anything we needed to know. Unfortunately the cleanliness was not up to the standards I believe one pays for. There were roaches in the bathroom. I know, being close to the water, it is a difficult task but for the price we paid, I expected better.

We had a wonderful stay to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday! The suite was enormous but cozy at the same time. We thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers and wine hour delivered right to our suite. The breakfast was delicious and the special touch of decorations for the celebration was so lovely and appreciated. The staff was so friendly and professional and the suite was clean and had everything we needed. You can’t beat the location with the views of the water and bridge. Thank you!!

AMAZING location across the street from the bay! We walked everywhere, no need for a car. Bayfront Marin has such a great history and the house has wonderful personality. Room was clean and decorated tastefully. We slept soundly at the "Sanchez House" and had no noise disturbances. Service was perfect, the team is professional and engaging! They offer daily breakfast and Happy Hour nibbles a really nice added touch for guests. Can't wait to return!

Lagoon Cottage. Musty smell, not cleaned well, couch pillows + porch cushions had stains. There was an infestation of ants in the 3rd floor bathroom.
