Hickory Grove Motor Inn - Cooperstown

The room had an odd smell to it; whether it was musty/mildew or from cleaning products, I'm not sure. However, it didn't cause any allergic symptoms. I kept the windows open during the day to try to freshen the air, but it didn't help much. Also, the sink drain was slow. Other than these things my friend and I were pleased and would stay there again.

Great location. Great price. Super friendly office staff.

For the price, everything was as it should be. We would stay again.

Beautiful location on Otsego Lake, and 10 minutes to Cooperstown & Baseball HoF. Thoroughly enjoyed the view, and the deck with a gorgeous view of the lake

The only downside to our stay was the extremely small cramped shower.

The location to downtown was perfect. The size of the room was good. Staff was very friendly during every interaction.

The bed mattress seemed to be older/worn (indent from over use by previous sleepers) making for an uncomfortable sleep. The shower was very small making it hard to move around. No easy access to outlets and the lamps did not have USB outlets making it hard to charge phones and other electronics.

This modest motel lived up to expectations for a short stay while in Cooperstown. The room was clean and contained a small refrigerator and microwave. The property is well maintained and the view of Lake Otsego is picturesque. The property has an outdoor grill and ice machine, and just a short drive into the Village of Cooperstown provides access to restaurants and retail shopping. I would stay there again when visiting Cooperstown.

This was a gem of a place to find. It was small and lovely. The room felt like a cabin on the lake. The walk to the lake was easy and the lakefront area was perfect. The staff was lovely and so helpful and kind.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. Double beds were great for both of us. Water in shower became increasingly hot, and that was somewhat concerning. Hostess was friendly and thorough at check-in. Will definitely return here in future trips to this area!
