Hickory Grove Motor Inn - Cooperstown

Not much, it appeared the room had been remodeled recently. However, the WI-FI was extremely poor, no cable service, utility building next to the room was very loud with some pump noise cycling all night. There was no safe walking access to the water edge as advertised. It was so bad I could not stay for the second night we were booked for. We just checked out early. No refund offered.

The people in the office couldn’t care a bit about my stay in the area And the office wasn’t open at 9am to get another pack of coffee to make in the room

The room was nice. The shower was extra small. And I thought we were able to go down to the lake, but It wasn’t possible

The only problem with this facility was the tiny shower. And the mattresses hurt my back. Otherwise, it was just fine.

Advertised beach, but we couldn’t find it.

Shower didn’t work and no not water

Lady at front desk on second shift did wonderful job.

All the rooms had a beautiful view of the lake and it was convenient to Cooperstown.

Friendly and helpful staff, reasonable rates, and clean.

Beds a little stiff for my liking, could use some remodeling
