Blue Oyster

Our room was wonderful with a stunning view over the lagoon and a large balcony. The bathroom was luxerious. Breakfastroom, lounges and garden with pool all bore witness of the owners very good taste. Unfortunatly one window of our car was smashed downtown but Janine, hostess at Blue Oyster, immediatly offered to help us, when she heard about i. And so she did with every step of the process including contacts with the police and the car rental firm. Thanks to her efficient help the whole thing went smoothly and quickly. After we had left she kept contact with the police to make sure we would get our casenummer as quickly as possible. She did far more then could be expected of her and we could leave Knysna in a good mode-only regretting we had no time to stay longer at Blue Oyster.

Fantastic view of the Knysna Lagoon! Couldn't ask for more beautiful scenery from our balcony on the top floor. Service was excellent - the owner made reservations for us for dinner, including transportation, so we didn't have to drive their in the dark. Breakfast was wonderful, with another superb view of the water from the breakfast room. Only drawbacks were all the stairs to the top level, and several steps down to the bathroom floor. Otherwise, wonderful stay.

Be aware that this guesthouse is at the top of the hill. The walk down is quite nice but you'll need a R60 taxi back or drive. Very comfortable.

This place is amazing - the luxury room is worth it; it was on awesome time there and a beautiful view. It can't get any better.

Fantastic experience at blue oyster. The B and B was lovely and hosts were very welcoming and full of suggestions of what we could do in the area.

The hotel had a tremendous view but was up a steep hill. We had to use our car all the time because of pouring rain. We did have some difficulty finding the B and B in the first place but a local family helped us.

The place is super, the view is fantastic. Venessa could not be more helpful. We truely enjoyed our 3 days there. What a bargin.
