"If you’re looking for peace and quiet it’s a nice place, but don’t expect 5 star facilities."

Rural and secluded, (we only stayed 2 nights) Elephants were the attraction

The property is in some state of disrepair, presumably due to being a 30 minutes drive to town, and therefore reasonable restaurants.

This place is magic. The nature, the silence, the peace.... The elephants passing through the resort at 3.30pm to go bathing in the river... We had a walk in the countryside around the resort, the local people were smiling and waving their hands at us... Everyone so happy!!! In front of the resort's gate there is a restaurant, the old lady cooks Thai food, it's very tasty and cheap!! Breakfast at the resort was very good!!!! I loved everything and I'm so happy to have choosen this place for a night!

Staff not too friendly, but they were polite!!!

"Exceptional"

A wonderful place created by mindful people. The area is vast, and the foundation dedicated to rescuing elephants is truly remarkable. The breakfasts are hearty, and there’s a stunning view of the river. We highly recommend the Samboon Legacy Foundation operating in the area. The swimming pool is fantastic!

"Elephants were the highlights of our stay."

Restaurants staff were very friendly. View from the restaurants were very pleasant, looking across the river. Seeing the elephants washing and playing in the river was the top experiences for our stay.

We stayed 2 nights. We've found Admin staff was very inexperience and was not friendly. We did not get what we've asked for, for our room. The room was very stuffy and smelly. We've put the complaint in but they couldn't change the room for us as it was fully booked, instead the housemaid went to spray the room for us. Unfortunately it was still very stuffy, We have to complain again in the morning, and luckily they've changed our room.
