The Legacy River Kwai Resort

We booked to have one night here during our trip in Kanchanburi because we had read you can watch the elephants bathing - there is an ethical sanctuary next door. It was amazing watching them enjoy their session in the river with no intervention from tourists Other facilities could do with some updating but were satisfactory

Breakfast is fine

The place was very quiet and tranquil in the middle of the forest. The room was clean and we were given two adjoining rooms for us and the children. Breakfast was included which is always a bonus. We loved the fact we saw elephants going swimming everyday.

The view is stunning, the place is very quiet and pastoral, you can park your car next to the room, great staff.

The location is far from the center, very dark and unpleasant at night, rooms a bit old.

1. The day reach resort out of Wifi connection, so i had a clear communication do not charge the credit card due to additional 3 to 5 percentage fee, offer my second master card. But the staff use first credit card for the payment. 2. The breakfast served without any hospitality

It's a huge derelict overextended disaster and there was absolutely nothing to like

I booked in for four nights and checked out after one night. Couldn't stay it was just so soulless and depressing. Everything about this place is sad tired disappointing!!!

The Hotel is absolutely gorgeous, full of trees, plants and flowers. The space is gigantic, you can see the elephant in the afternoon everyday at no charge. It feels like you are in the middle of a jungle surrounded by tall trees, wildlife and the river ... The food is excellent and the staff is very nice. Thanks 🙏

The only thing that was really average were the bed and the pillows
