Aonang Sunset Hotel

Great location in the centre of Ao Nang. Very large bunk with comfortable mattress. I enjoyed the use of the pool outside. Good airccon.

Poor wifi. Not amazingly clean - lots of sand was always on the floor of the dorm. The Full Moon bar across the road has live music till the early hours every night and you can hear it clearly in the dorm. The staff didn’t speak great English so it was not always easy to communicate.

El hotel está en la avenida principal de aonang rodeado de agencias de viajes, tiendas y restaurantes, en pleno meollo de la vida turística de Aonang. Es muy conveniente para hacer excursiones a sitios más interesantes que Aonang.

La ubicación del hotel está frente a un bar con música en vivo hasta las 2:30 de la mañana así que dormir con cascos de música era fundamental para poder dormir. El hotel ofrece dos habitaciones de hostel de 10 plazas cada, diferenciadas por sexo, una habiendo solo 2 baños para 10 personas y los de la piscina, aunque afortunadamente no tuve problema la limpieza podría mejorar. El personal del hotel es sencillamente correcto, demasiado burocrático. Te retienen 500 bat de depósito por la llave. No hay áreas comunes salvo la piscina que es chiquitita

Ligger verkligen centralt nära till affärerna och longtailbåtarna om man vill ut till öarna .

Väldigt hög och störande musik från puben mitt emot .

Trekking-Zimmer mit extrem schlechten Matratzen. Die sogenannten „Trekking-Handtücher“ sahen aus, als wären sie schon vor der Eröffnung benutzt worden. Zusätzlich wurden mir 300 THB berechnet, nur weil die Handtücher angeblich „Trekking-Handtücher“ waren. Absolut unverschämt. Nie wieder – klare Abzocke.

Good location, short walk to the main beach and to the strip. Lots of restaurants nearby. Beds were comfy and spacious, lockers available and they provided padlock and key. Curtains on the beds in the hostel. One toilet and shower available for 12, but it was clean. There were more toilets by the pool.

Really loud at night until around 2am from the bar across the road, so bring ear plugs! No communal area, expect the pool and sun loungers and a few chairs. Aircon turns off at 10am and comes back on at 5pm so it’s pretty hot during the day.
