Horrible experience. AC out at home prompted the stay. After paying with a CC I was repeatedly asked for 50 dollar cash deposit with no explanation as to what it was for. Then the room itself was terrible. Smelled awful. So bad that there was an air purifier in the room, but a deep cleaning would have been better. The air in the room was damp and moldy could be smelled. Overall the room was pretty disgusting. So bad I'm fact that I only stayed in the room for about 8 hours and then checked out a whole day early. Went and sat in a house with no AC instead of staying here.
We were here all week and enjoyed every minute! The rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast is good and the pool is clean. The lady that ran breakfast all week did an amazing job! All staff was nice and effecient!
USUSI booked on Orbits and paid but when I arrived gentleman wanted to charge me an addition fee for using Orbitz. Said something about it being an added charge. Ummmmm if there was additional charges then they need to work that out with orbits. It was only about $5 but that adds up in their register and felt very scammish. I asked others if they were charged that and some said yes others said no. Y’all need to get that figured out. If people are booking through orbits there is no need for an additional fee at the front desk.
Definitely needs repairs. Our bathroom looked like they had tried to remodel but it was very messy. Room smelled musty
This LQ is showing its age with worn furniture and bathroom fittings as well as significant rust along doorframes and other metal surfaces. Age is understandable, but bathrooms that are only 80% clean and carpet in dire need of a vacuuming are choices someone made. Opening my room door to find a large roach in the entryway was... to put it mildly... distressing and unsetlling. LQ once was the brand for quality. Unfortunately, that's not true in this case.
Elevator was not in service and I was on the second floor. The air conditioner in my room was not working, but the front desk was kind enough to change my room.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay here again. Extended our stay and it was very convenient and trouble free.
