Sweetwaters Serena Camp

Zeer mooie locatie, dicht bij de vrije natuur met zicht op wilde dieren. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Restaurant prima met gevarieerd menu. Slaaptent zeer ruim, met alles wat men nodig heeft. Totale vrijheid (indien je met eigen vervoer komt) om op avontuur te gaan in her safari park.

Het enige wat me niet beviel, en dit is een klacht over booking.com, is dat het niet duidelijk was dat men een zeer significant bedrag per nacht bij de prijs moet optellen voor het verblijf op het park (110 usd per volwassene per dag). Dit was niet duidelijk en meer dan verwacht.

Our stay at the camp was truly unforgettable. The location offered breathtaking views of wildlife, with animals grazing just beyond the tent’s fence, truly a rare and spectacular sight. Spending the weekend with my spouse in such a serene environment was deeply relaxing, surrounded by natural beauty at every turn. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, ensuring every detail was taken care of. The tent itself was spacious, spotless and well maintained, blending comfort with the charm of the outdoors. The massage as well provided much-needed relief and added to the sense of indulgence. This was a special experience that combined tranquility and nature in perfect harmony. We look forward to returning at some point in the future.

The only minor issue was the bathroom drainage, which remained slow despite the plumber’s efforts to resolve it. Fortunately, this did not affect the enjoyment of our weekend. We hope it can be permanently fixed for future guests

I was so fortunate to stay here on my African Safari vacation. The nature surrounding the camp is exquisite. Yellow bark acacia trees dot the landscape while Superb Starling birds greet you all along the walking paths. Zebras and elephants are visible in the distance as you sip your coffee on the front porch. The best part was my deep tissue massage with Emilie. It was the best massage ever. I'm so glad I was able to get a massage during my stay there.

We spent 4 nights at Sweetwaters after staying at the Serena Mara Lodge. Once again, the personal service was exemplary and every member of staff goes out of their way to be helpful. They are all so joyful it’s difficult not to feel uplifted by them! Once again, we had excellent game drives. This time Gilbert was our driver and guide. He is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and professional. We had wondered whether hotel provided drives would be up to scratch but I now believe this is the absolute best way to do it.

Diese Unterkunft ist top. Wir sind zwei Nächte geblieben. Deluxe Zelte direkt am Wasserloch. Wunderschöner Blick, der abends zusätzlich beleuchtet wird. Auch vom Essen aus kann man das Wasserloch durch die Scheiben sehr gut beobachten. Das Essen ist auch ausgezeichnet und das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Camp bietet übrigens sogar Nacht Game Drives an.

Incredible venue, staff were so kind and helpful and joyful. The camp was peaceful and tent was very comfortable. The food was above average but could be improved.

My wife and I spend 4 days here in February 26. Our luxurious tent opened directly on a watering hole, where we saw elephants, giraffes, buffalo, many antelopes, warthogs, tons of birds and much more. We pulled out deck chair up to the fence and just watched for hours. Magical! The tent had a very comfortable and large bed and a full bath room with hot showers. The grounds are well maintained and it is very worthwhile to walk around the camp. It is like a bush walk. At night, several types of antelope jump the fence to be safe on the inside - hence they have security people in duty. Carlton greeted us at the front desk and took really good care of our needs. We had a wonderful server, Harrison, who attended to our every needs and was fun to chat with. Anyways with a welcoming smile! Nathifo was our guide on the many safari tours through ol pejeta, including a night drive. Sure helped us to spot all the major animals including two kills. Overall a fantastic place to stay in an awesome surrounding!
