Absolutely fabulous staff

Excellent value for money and lovely staff. We booked this hotel for a long weekend to visit family in the local area. As soon as we arrived (9pm) the staff member helped ensure we could get into the small car park with our car safely. The staff throughout our stay were all so lovely and welcoming, any concerns or questions were answered immediately. The hotel is a lovely older styled hotel but is very homely and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is really good quality and to be included in the price of the room is such good value for money. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely book again when we are in the area.

Hotel was clean and comfortable with well equipped room. The manager/staff were really helpful. I had made a mistake with my booking date which they sorted out for me very quickly. The breakfast was good and all bought to the table. Very friendly. Great location in a side road near the sea front . I would book agin if I’m in the area.

My room was very clean , warm and comfortable. Plenty of tea,coffee and milk in the room. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were all really nice. Walking time around 15 minutes to the bottom of the town centre . To sum up my stay at this hotel was very comfortable and I would definitely stay here again.

This is not at all hotel related, but I have to say that the town centre is in my opinion , not a patch on how it used to be and as a regular visitor to the area, it’s quite depressing to see how it has declined over the years . So much so , apart from using the train station I didn’t spend any time there.

Friendly staff,a good value for money B and B .large clean rooms lovely breakfast. I would go back.

Not very clean and hearh and safety side of things were not great.

The staff were really REALLY nice and really looked after me as a woman travelling on my own. For example, when I arrived I was really tired from the drive and the chap on reception parked my car in the car park to save me the stress. I asked for a room with a window that opened and it was ready and open for me when I arrived. I booked a single room but because there was a double room available I was given that room which was a bonus. There was a drip in my shower that couldn't get fixed. It was quite loud but it didn't impact my sleep. Breakfast was lovely, really tasty.
