Maudlins House Hotel

the beds were very very uncomfortable and for that reason i could never stay again. shortage of towells, soap dispensers broken in both rooms. no restaurant on monday night. the english barman was superb.

The Maudlins House Hotel is a small hotel just off the main Dublin road in Naas. The exterior could do with a sprucing up but inside it a great little hotel. The food in the bar is consistently good & good value. Rooms are large, basic but clean. Staff are friendly & helpful. Perfect for a business trip. There is a multiscreen cinema about 50 m from the hotel.

the hotel is in a brillant location for racing and shopping,but the outside of the hotel needs some work (painting ect) it is off-putting when you drive in and see the timber railings falling apart and not painted, once you enter the hotel the staff,the food,the rooms ect are brillant and excellent valu i would come back again and soon

We enjoyed our stay the staff were polite and helpful our room was warm but the lighting was poor. there was a good variety for breakfast however the cooked breakfast was not hot enough we heard a few of the guests comment on this.the outside of the hotel is looking a bit unkept saying this we enjoyed our stay and good value for money

My room was very clean and in very good condition. The breakfast was nice and hot and good quality. The bar and staff excellent, would definately stay again!

Economical, yet Good Quality & friendly service

A nice stay, quiet place room was clean,the only problem was the breakfast wasn't, the best,cold and not a lot to choose from (I got down at ten to ten and there was little breakfast left)but Im sure they would have got out more if I asked but I couldn't be bothered.

Hotel not as good as the last time we stayed 2 years ago. Staff and food still great but I have to say, it is no longer in great decorative order. Huge area of peeling plaster and large cracks in area near restaurant. Our room in need of a coat of paint and bathroom tiles needed re-grouting. No products in bathroom except soap dispenser, so had to go out and buy shower gel and shampoo.Had no hot water first night but this was fixed the next day. Such a shame as it has a lovely ambience.

The room was in a seperate cottage (right next to car driveway to car park) which was always noisy. The matress on the bed was in poor condition (seriously sagging in the middle). I was able to use the very end of the matress which was still somewhat firm. I go to Ireland at least twice a year, will not choose this place again....

Enjoyable Staff very Pleasant and helpful.
