The breakfast was very good and the location was excellent. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are very well equipped. The staff are very friendly and professional.

This was our second time at this property and it was a different experience than the first. It was not bad, but the buffet line was only open during breakfast. For lunch and dinner there was a set menu and you had to wait for your food to be brought to the table. Sometimes that meant waiting longer than we expected to receive our food at lunch and in the evening and having fewer choices. I don't know why you have to pay to have water with your meal. Only coffee and tea are complimentary.

the location was perfect, we had a pack of lions outside the lodge on both days. The service was good, the pool nice. Overall a great stay

Polite and supportive hotel personnel with an attention to every detail. Very good local cuisine food 🤗 and rich variety of food. We enjoyed🌸 Dinner with guitar songs was amazing💃. Comfortable bed and mantras. Cute rooms . My family was really happy with everything in Serena Safari Lodge❤️ Safari trips were exciting and we were happy to see all the famous Kenyan animals around😇🦓🦒🐘🐆🦬🦛. We were lucky to observe Kilimangiaro mount at our first day

Small black inserts all over the room. The netting on the air vents above the bed has much too large a mesh. My hair was literally crawling with black insects every morning. Unable to sleep at night due to the insects. The sad part is that the hotel is perfectly aware of this (TripAdvisor is full of commentary on this issue), but has not bothered to get new netting installed on the door, the bathroom window or the air vents.
