I've finally get refund back and thank you management team for special exception. The front staff Justin was nice but he never mentioned that refund would be processed after the approval from his manager before we left the hotel. This was misleading information but hotel finally helped to solve this issue.

We arrived to hotel and told the front staff that bathtub in the room is dirty and old, no curtain in the shower room. It’s hard for us to stay and Justin told us that there would be no charge for us if we didn’t want to stay and truly understood our concerns. Then we decided to leave the hotel immediately because he mentioned that there would be no charge for us plus the car park fee refund as well. It was for my birthday trip and I drove all the way back to Toronto at night. Justin rejected for refund now and asked me to contact booking.com for refund issue. I asked for a written note from him just in case if there is charges to my credit card after my departure, he said don’t worry and no charge for us, he won’t give me a note about this. I further expressed that the payment was gone through to their hotel, there is nothing I can deal with hotel.com. I felt so angry that they lied to me and telling me different things now, if he never mentioned there will be no charge for us, why I must leave the hotel as full payment is required???
