Clean room, friendly staff, easy check in

The good and the bad: Good: nice clean hotel in the downtown area if you are looking for downtown. Its very quiet and the room was quite spacious. Staff are good, no issues. Bad: Depending on your personal taste, the bathroom situation wasn't for me. There is a small room with toilet. The shower and bathtub are in the open so no privacy. Parking is a bit of an issue. There is a parkade across the street but no in/out privileges for $26. So that didn't work for us and had to park outside at a private lot a bit of a hike from the hotel. I like to book on the hotel website but found it way cheaper on expedia which doesn't make sense to me.

Location suited our needs but a bit rough

First, our room was not ready at check-in time which was a problem. We were referred to the manager who does not work weekends (we were checking in on a Saturday). The room’s windows were into an internal space. The pillows were huge and uncomfortable.

No parking on site.

It was cute and nicely broken down.

No parking, window view of the wall, hard bed, and tv was weirdly placed

Bed and pillows weren't great. Pillows were too big and stiff.
