Spark by Hilton Washington Meadowlands Blvd

Badly remodeled and charged me more money even though it was prepaid on Expedia. They said it would be refunded and wasn’t. I had to call several times. I will never stay here again

Nice property, close to everything

I didn’t like the fact that I was woken up at 5 o’clock in the morning by the dumpster truck. That’s a little early to be taking out the trash.

It was very clean

Not much everything seemed to be in good standing

The website showed that it has a pool. It did not. The toilet paper rolls were empty. There was leftover shower products from the previous guest on the shower. The breakfast was not good. The toasters didn’t work.

This was a clean renovated property. They had a nice big shower and everything looked brand new. The breakfast was very sparse and there was some outside road noise, but it was a great value for the price.

All was good aside from the tv had been broken. Luckily I got to room late and was getting ready for sleep. I only planned to watch for 10-15 minutes since it was so late but the screen was broken so I called front office, they came right up and asked if I wanted other room. I did not but wanted to make sure they understood it was broken.

Overall it was a decent. Towel bar was falling off the wall. No housekeeping services

There was no coffee pot in room, no toilet paper holder in bathroom. Not much food choice for breakfast. the room/hotel was clean and it looks very nice since the remodel.

Hotel is newly remodeled so our room was brand new. There's some ongoing work so pretty soon the entire place will look like new.

Hotel is being rebranded as a Spark by Hilton but when you book on this site it still says Country Inn and Suites so we were really confused when the GPS took us there. Fortunately, asking the front desk cleared it up, but the hotel name needs to be changed here on Booking.com. Some young guys decided it would be a good idea to record some tik tok video over and over (claps and all) right outside our room in the hallway at 12:30 am, which woke me and my husband up. A call to the front desk sorted it out, until....they were back at it an hour later, waking us both up AGAIN 😕 Someone must have said something because session two was over in a few minutes, but by then the damage was done. My husband managed to get back to sleep quickly but I think I only managed to get a few hours in before it was time to wake up. I'm baffled by how unaware/unconcerned some people are that their actions might inconvenience other people. This wasn't the hotel's fault of course, but it put a damper on an otherwise nice weekend. Also, The breakfast room was in the middle of remodeling so breakfast was moved to another room which seemed to result in a very limited "menu". But, hopefully when all the work is done this won't be a thing anymore.
