Het hotel is schitterend gelegen. In het restaurant zit je bijna met je voeten in het water van de oceaan. De decoratie en verlichting van het hotel zijn schitterend. Er is enorm veel aandacht geschonken aan detail. Alle fonteintjes, vazen, verlichting, ... passen bij elkaar. Het infinity zwembad is super aangenaam en lijkt naadloos over te lopen in de oceaan. Het personeel is enorm vriendelijk en je voelt je echt te gast. De kamer in het hotel 'Villa de Charme' is de mooiste die we ooit in ons leven gehad hebben. Ze is ruim met aandacht voor detail. Vooral de buitenbadkamer is een pareltje.

Het hotel is redelijk prijzig. Als je iets wil drinken of extra wil eten ben je direct wat geld kwijt. La Digue is een prachtig eiland, maar op enkele dagen heb je het wel gezien. Als je extra uitstappen wil plannen ben je bijna 'verplicht' om de ferry naar Praslin te nemen, waar er meer mogelijkheden zijn om uitstappen te plannen.

We are currently staying at Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie amd can say this has been one of our favourite hotel experiences. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the port, with shops, cafés and restaurants all nearby, making everything very easy and relaxed. It’s also perfectly positioned for some beautiful walks and sunsets. We particularly loved walking to Anse Severe and Anse Patates in the evenings to watch the sunset, which became one of the highlights of our trip. The food and beverage offering has been exceptional throughout our stay. The buffet restaurant offers a different themed evening each night, which keeps things varied and interesting, while the à la carte restaurant provides a true high-end gourmet dining experience and was perfect for celebrating our wedding anniversary. What has really made this stay special though is the incredible customer service throughout the resort. Every team member has been warm, attentive and genuinely caring, and they truly went above and beyond to make our 25th wedding anniversary memorable. We stayed in a Villa de Charme which is a truly enchanting accommodation. The outdoor bathroom concept takes a little getting used to initially, but it quickly becomes part of the charm and uniqueness of the experience. The villa felt very private, peaceful and special throughout our stay. We also really appreciated the lovely turn-down service each evening, and a huge thank you to our housekeeper Kani, who kept the villa spotless and beautifully decorated both on arrival and especially for our anniversary. The spa has a fantastic location with views out to Praslin. We are booked in for a treatment today so very much looking forward to that. We have absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie to anyone looking for somewhere truly special to stay on La Digue.

The stay was excellent it all works out the way we expected; the location was perfect. staff very friendly and attentive all the time, room and facilities are very clean, the management are always present, in all the stay was excellent

Bon emplacement, les restaurants sont très bons.

Au vu du prix payé, je m'attendais à un hôtel un peu plus intimiste comme nous en avons eu sur les autres iles; notre villa très jolie mais avec un balcon non protégé, plein soleil toute la journée, aucun équipement prévu pour profiter pleinement de ce beau balcon. Une salle de bain plein air mais avec une intimité moyenne vu que le balcon du dessus avait une vue directe malgré les paravents (ne pas prendre la 215, les autres villas sont mieux orientées). La musique tard le soir et les aboiements de chiens toute la nuit sont loin du calme de Praslin! C'est en effet un bel hôtel pour les "instagrameurs" mais pas pour les personnes qui souhaitent le luxe et l'intimité ...
