My room was clean, if a little small (almost no room on two sides of the double bed. But there was a mini fridge which is great. The location was a little bit of a walk through a boring area to get to the CBD but it's directly on a bus line to the airport and right next to the botanical garden.

The kitchen was very small but there weren't many other people trying to cool while I was so it didn't bother me. At a different time it might be a problem. Luggage storage was $4, one of the only times I had to pay for that in NZ.
