"Too Short a Visit."

Our favorite stay during our two week trip. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed as family. The country home is beautiful, the grounds are tranquil and scenic and the food is fantastic! Will definately stay here again in the future. Only problem was we were only there for one night. Consider longer stay.

"Top hotel and restaurant"

This is an old world hotel with old world charm. We were met by the owner who, after arranging for a cup of tea for us, personally showed us to our room. It had a splendid view over the lake. The gardens were extensive and meandered between mature shrubs and trees. The two evening meals we had in the hotel's restaurant were superb. The chef was 'Kerry Chef of the year 2015'and the menu showed off her talents to the full. If you go to no other hotel and restaurant in Ireland, go to this one. The only reason this was not five stars through the whole review was that there was no TV in the bedroom.

"An Irish Gem near the Ring of Kerry"

The highlight of our trip to Ireland . This Victorian hunting lodge set amidst luschious gardens on the banks of a serene loch is a haven .From the warmest welcome by the owners where every attention is given to the guests . There are 5 intimate living rooms , bedrooms facing the jewel lake and dining with stunning vistas. The renouned chef prepares your dinner from all local produce ,the fish is delicate and mouth watering .The owners and family have a gem here .

"Peaceful Hide away"

From the moment we entered the front door we were made extremely welcome. The house is simply beautiful, with attention to every little detail, main floor has many little nooks where you can hide away if necessary! Gardens are exquisite & lead down to the lake. Our room was spacious & had a patio leading into the garden with view of the lake. Dinner was outstanding, have never tasted rack of lamb like it. Breakfast was every big as good with wonderful choices. Will defiantly return there.
