Gran Hotel Pereira

The first thing that went wrong, they gave me a room with 3 beds I requested one bed, second they gave me a room with one bed but no air conditioning this is a hot city,and third they charged mi more than what was written in my reservation through Hotels .com, their justification was that when one make a reservation the taxes and additional room charges are not included, I cancelled my reservation and went two block up the street and booked through Hotels.com Hotel Soratama where they honored the rate I was given by Hotels.com.

Completely adequate and reasonable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Outstanding service. Great location right in the middle of the city. The building is kind of old. But rooms are very clean the included breakfast is a plus.

The hotel is old but in the same time comfort and clean, the rooms are big and not noisy. 10 minuts from the airport and in the midle of the city

A couple of employees spoke limited English. Has free wi-fi that is fairly fast. 2 blocks from the central square. Plenty of small stores close by. Hotel is very secure and at night the street in front of it is safe but do not recommend walking very far alone at night. The beds are nice with plenty of covers but the mattresses are very firm. LCD tv's in suites are nice addition. Hooked my laptop to it for movies.

This Hotel has a lot of Charm, and is within two blocks from the center of Town. Also, the hotel is walking distance to several shopping centers, but be careful at night. Hotel staff were very accomodating and the level of service was excellent. I Reserved the Special Suite which was a very large room with a balcony. The hotel, the rooms, and the furnishings are a bit dated, but that is part of the charm of the property. The only complaint is that the beds were very hard. Everynight, my wife placed the cushions from the sofa on the bed so it would be a little easier to sleep. However, that being said, this was a great property, especially fro the price of a suite.
