Birches Serviced Apartments

Location is convenient if you are heading to MCG. We had a one-night good stay.

I received a message that my room was not available and re-funding will be given. However, The lady did apologise for confusion and welcomed us. Especially, when you are travelling from other state and see this message upon landing at airport. This was fixed immediately when we called the property.

The room was old and tatty (eg. Torn mossie screens)

Die Lage ist recht gut und nah am Zentrum. Die Größe des Zimmers ist objektiv absolut ausreichend. Es gibt Parkplätze im Innenhof, jedoch gegen eine Gebühr. Von der Straßenseite aus wirkt es auf den ersten Blick gepflegt aus.

Katastrophale Zustände in der Anlage selbst. Die Unterkunft wird scheinbar als Sozialnotwohnung in dem Stadtteil genutzt. Es ist laut, schmutzig, das Wifi funktionierte in unserem Apartment nicht und wurde auch auf wiederholte Nachfrage nicht instand gesetzt. Unter den Betten war viel Dreck, das Apartment an sich sehr heruntergekommen und in einen seltsamen, strengen Geruch gehüllt. Es gibt keinen Aufzug, die Rezeption ist auch nicht 24/7 oder gar den Tag über besetzt. Für Familien eine Zumutung. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt nach 3 Nächten abgebrochen. Keine Rückerstattung!

The location and price are fantastic.Easy to access the city of melbourne from .Walking distance to gardens shops and restaurants. Close to public transport.

Unfortunately the bathroom needs a good scrub. The bath which you stand in to shower is very dirty . The sink and toilet need some ebow grease to clean them properly.

Room smelt damp, musty and smoky, no hot water in shower, some channels didn’t work on tv, carpets were filthy, couch smelt like ass, beds felt like sleeping on springs, loud neighbours. Worst accomodation I’ve ever stayed in. Also requested ground floor which we didn’t get and had to stay on 3rd floor with an invalid mother who could barely get up the stairs

I booked for two adults and one kid when I check in there was no privacy at all it was just a samall apartment with uncomfortable bed I have kid with me and there was no door for the bed room so can’t just stay there coz I have a baby with me I go back to ask reception if they have any other option they side they are fully booked but they offer me full refund since o was booked this place throw booking .com I have to call them for refund they side they will request for the refund then I got emailed that they not gonna refund they even offer me for refund during check in but they not then I booked another hotel same night not recommended this place at all

I don’t like this place at all this is not worth at all strongly not recommended this place plz don’t wast they money

Great location for the MCG and parks. A good low cost option for melbourne - if you're prepared to accept the shortcomings. Good aircon.

A very faded block of apartments, definitely not as modern and good looking as the pictures. Whilst everything in the apartment worked, the carpets were heavily stained, the fridges/cooker etc were old and past their best. Seemed to attract some undesirables, as the police were having to throw guests out when we arrived! The one bedroom apartment didn't have a door to the bedroom, it was open to the lounge so no privacy if you have someone using the sofa bed.
