Lovely grounds and period property

Lovely listed property. Good amenities, lovely lounge and restaurant. Staff were brilliant. Couldn’t do enough to accommodate my elderly father in law with mobility issues. When we left a couple of items behind, hotel contacted us and posted items out.

Room was outstanding & staff were friendly & helpful

We were at this Hotel for 3 days with another couple and The Staff were professional and very friendly. The cleanliness of the property especially the rooms were spotless, and the location was great for all our needs, visiting Chatsworth House/Bakewell and matlock etc.. The food was very tasty and the portions large so you'll never go out hungry. Also If you couldn't find what you wanted the staff were always happy to help, as well as helping you dine outside of property and directions of places to visit. The building itself is not large or small but quite quaint. With furniture in the lounge area comfortable ( although 1 sofa could do with more padding) The bedroom was very clean and comfortable with sufficient furniture making it feel uncluttered and roomy. We'll definitely be back to this wonderful little gem in the near future. What ever the price may be.

Going Home.

Very good food, dinner and breakfast. Staff very polite and made sure we had everything we needed. Room very good size and very comfortable beds. Will definatley return.
