"We were staying one night before heading off to the Scillys . It suited us well"

The location was great and the room comfortable. The dining room looks good. Unfortunately they were short of staff and we waited nearly an hour for our meal. We could see they were trying their hardest though.

No lift isn’t ideal.

"Old-fashioned but very friendly."

Old-fashioned hotel with nice sitting rooms though they were a bit dark. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast choices plus wide range on buffet. Room overlooked harbour but could do with freshening up. Bed/pillows very comfortable, duvet light and warm. Bathroom well heated. Poolside looked a bit neglected. Neat front garden with seats. Fairly quiet. Stairs unlit to first floor. Evening meals quite poor.
