Beautiful decor, friendly, helpful staff

Location

Poor value for money, paint peeling in the room, WiFi constantly dropping out.

We had a great stay, the two ladies running the show were first class. Fabulous omlette for breakfast.

All good, we plan to return when next staying in Southsea

Hotel Review: G Boutique, Portsmouth Rating: 1/5 Stars I would strongly advise anyone considering a stay at G Boutique to look elsewhere. My recent experience was far below the standard expected for the price point, and the lack of basic maintenance and hygiene was frankly appalling. Cleanliness & Hygiene The room was horrendously dirty. There was visible dust and filth on almost every surface. Most disturbingly, upon lifting the duvet, the bedding appeared as though it had already been slept in. For a hospitality business, this is an inexcusable breach of basic hygiene standards. Room Condition & Maintenance The room was not just dated; it was falling apart. The laminate had been completely removed from the dressing table and one of the end tables, exposing stained MDF underneath. Furthermore, the room lacked fundamental basics: * No wardrobe or designated space to hang coats. * The bathroom radiator was stuck on full heat and could not be adjusted, making the space incredibly uncomfortable. Service & Staffing The management seems to be operating on a skeleton crew. The same staff members are expected to handle housekeeping (if you can even call it that) and breakfast service simultaneously. There is rarely anyone at the front desk; guests are required to ring a bell and wait for assistance. Final Verdict It feels as though this business relies solely on attracting new, unsuspecting customers, as I cannot imagine anyone would ever choose to return. Save your money and stay somewhere that actually values cleanliness and guest comfort. Upon sharing this feedback with the receptionist, it was clear she didn't care in the slightest.

Breakfast excellent room and bed really good but would have preferred s pot of tea rather than just a mug of hot water with a teabag in it.

Jacuzzi bath

Room cleanliness was quite poor, RubbishTV..not many room additions, no Fridge. Coffee machine etc. Basic beverage making amenities.

The staffs are very nice. The freshly cooked brrakfast is delicious!

No lift, not convenient if you are over 50s with 2 x 20 kg luggage. The staff saved the day, and I am grateful.

It was clean, comfortable and fairly close to eating places.

A fair way out from the ferries.

The decorations package was excellent
