G Boutique Hotel

Great hotel, close to the Wedgwood rooms. Breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay again.

The location is great. And the restaurant staff were lovely.

It was obvious as soon as I got there that the ownership had changed. It wasn’t as clean as I remembered. Paint was flaking off the walls in places in the room, bath was a bit grubby and the shower very weak.

Not great experience, within first hour of arriving at our very rough and below average room I had someone from the hotel just walk into my room while I’m laying on the bed no apology just walked straight back out . Pillows had marks on , room was cleaned to very poor standard with dirt marks on several Items cupboards all damaged and peeling away . Breakfast was a let down also eggs like rubber , bacon as salty as can be , watery beans and barely cooked hash brown. In the all a very poor experience

Die Lage war gut, Seaside in Laufreichweite, belebte Straßen, zum Essen & Einkaufen um die Ecke. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut, man musste bestellen was man wollte (große Auswahl & Kombinationen mgl.) Personal beim Frühstück, zwei junge Frauen, war sehr nett und aufmerksam.

Zimmername: Glittering Das Hotel-Interieur war deutlich abgewohnt und strapaziert. Mobiliar teilweise stark verschmutzt und eher schäbig vom Aussehen. Was noch deutlicher unangenehm war, als das Mobiliar, war der Zustand vom Badezimmer. Schimmel in den Fugen, an der Duschabtrennung, Stockflecken an den Wänden und sichtbare Feuchtigkeitsschäden. Das Laminat zeigte wellige Kanten und war auch durch Feuchtigkeit beschädigt. Das Hotel hat eine gründliche Renovierung nötig.

Nothing but wouldn’t be suitable for people who are not mobile as there are a lot of stairs

The location, Quiet. Staff were very helpful.

Room was tight, needed a smaller chair or stool to go under desk, as the one there was making a narrow space even worse to walk by. Also a tall large fan was taking up the corner,so we had to place that into the bathroom. In the bathroom, the towel rail / shelf was far to high up to be of any use. My husband couldn't reach it and he's 6ft 2. The flip plug in the basin was jammed and the mixer tap for shower was jammed down. The guy on reception had to get a screwdriver and had to bang handle of it to realise the flip plug in basin. The stuck shower part, my husband had a real struggle to pull up the part that allows water to flow through the shower. The key for our room (G ror good time) was again a struggle to use. It wouldn't line up in the hole, took quite a few times to get in. . Pillows were pretty firm but bed itself was comfortable.
