An absolute dump. We had two rooms with an adjoining bathroom on the top floor. Just because it’s old doesn’t make it charming. Everything was threadbare. Thrift store furniture. Filthy carpet. Tiny, moldy bathroom. Our room was on the street side so we heard traffic all night and had light shining in through the inadequate shades. I’ve never encountered such an uncomfortable pillow. No sleep! Avoid this place.

Location in downtown, historic hotel, comfortable beds, reasonable price

No elevator (a fine tradeoff overall, but important to know), breakfast was mostly cereal, etc.

The atmosphere around the hotel was so charming. The location was great, and the parking was super easy. Wonderful place. I would highly recommend.

The heat in the room was a bit and high, and the radiator seemed locked in full-open. It was a bit toasty, but otherwise it was a great experience.
