Squiers Manor B&B

Large suites and accommodating owners. Enjoyed our stay. Spent one our day’s in Galena Illinois and a great time as the town was set up for a street party. Halloween was well represented at the Inn and in town.

This was an amazing B&B the home was very relaxing and welcoming. Our host made us feel right at home.

We had a great time, I really wish that we could have stayed longer and I'm looking forward to going back.

We were so very pleased with our stay. Our host Nathan, was incredibly helpfull! We shared our homemade wine with other guest around the table and had a wonderful sharing experience. The breakfast was special and friendly. Nathan gave us a very educating tour of the old home, and shared lots of information about the area and all the beautiful antique furnishings. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the antique porch swing. A very peaceful place.

It is very seldom that I give excellents or 10's when rating something. You have to really impress me to get a perfect score. That is exactly what Squier's Manor did. The host, the food, the room were all awesome. This will be our new go to place to stay on week-end trips. The sign on the door reads "come as strangers, leave as friends" and that is exactly what happened. I met 3 new friends. Wonderful place to stay.

Possibly the best service I could have ever expected! We were late upon checking in (didn’t know there was a time range to do so) but Nathan gave us a call making sure we didn’t get lost on our way. Even though we arrived 2+ hours late he still made us feel welcome more than ever. He gave us a great recommendation for dinner as we weren’t from the area, and was just very personable! Room and accommodations were excellent. Breakfast in the morning was amazing! Couldn’t recommend this B&B more. 6/5 stars ⭐️

Squiers Manor is a one of a kind in the heart of Maquoketa. I really enjoyed my time there and learning what it's like to stay at a bed and breakfast for the first time. I look forward to staying there in the future and monitoring the progress of the new owners that have already made significant improvements in a short period of time.
