We have stayed here a few years ago. The location is perfect for visiting the local wineries and also a few of the outdoor concert venues. We dined at a local restaurant which was recommended by the property owners. The property owners are so welcoming - it's like staying at a friend's house. Having breakfast on the lovely verandah each morning we enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surrounds, the local birds and wildlife.

Great location for ease of access to Roche Estate (concert venue). Cosy, quiet with great breakfast basket each morning.

Only criticism would be the pillows - flat and hard (sorry).

A wonderful, peaceful location, our hosts provided a great breakfast, delivered to our room. We ate it on the verandah listening to the birds. The hosts are very friendly with lots of local knowledge.

Some of the furniture is a little tired.

The breakfast hamper was a lovely touch. Hosts are lovely people and very helpful. Highly recommend The Carriages to anyone. It’s quiet, close to all that the vineyards have to offer and nice and quiet for those wanting to reset.

Not having a decent size mug for my morning cuppa.

Relaxing, clean and has everything you need. The hosts are very attentive and happy to attend to all your needs.

Loved the rain on the tin roof

Probably could have had a dishwasher and an umbrella. Maybe if we could have used the firewplace that would be good too! With so much rain the front enterance didn't drain as well therefore got very wet shoes.
