Location was good. Rooms were practical.

Just because I booked thru booking.com, I was treated as a 2nd class guest. I am Gold Honors member but none of the requests, perks were honored because I booked thru Booking.com. I asked for room upgrade with necessary additional upcharge, 11am check out instead of 10, everything was simply declined with that underlying reasoning.

"Do Your Own Housekeeping!"

The Hilton Elara is a great location for center strip. The property is well maintained. The 2 stars was due to us not receiving housekeeping services when requested. We turned the green housekeeping request light on before we left our toom for the day and came back to the room being untouched. It's not that the room was accidently overlooked. It's the fact that the front desk and the housekeeping supervisor argued with us stating that we didn't turn rhe green housekeeping light on and the red privacy light off. The fact that they are continuing to argue with us even as I write this review is ridiculous. Someone from housekeeping brought up unfolded towels and left them on the bathroom counter. She also left sheets on the bedroom counter as if we were supposed to strip and makeup our own bed! The idea of your home away from home shouldn't include us having to make our own bed!
