Avani Plus Koh Lanta Krabi Resort

We had a lovely stay at Avani. The breakfast was amazing and high quality. We also had lunch and dinner at the hotel and especially the dinner was really great. The seaview from our room was amazing and the balcony a lovely place to relax. The staff was also very service minded and welcoming. Unfortunately, the beds were very bad. The mattress topper seemed like duvets, so it was so hard and not at all nice. The hotel is close to the beach but it takes 15 min to walk to the nice Khlong Dao beach with toddlers. Sometimes we walked, sometimes we took a tuk tuk. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

6 nights was spent at this lovely hotel perched on the cliffs in Ko Lanta. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and home to 2 Hornbills named Gok and Gek. We opted for the pool access rooms which were very nice, great to have a dip at anytime. Breakfast was very good as are the staff who gave you a very smiley morning welcome. Wife had a nice spa treatment too. The staff are excellent from ladies on reception, bell boys to housekeeping and I have to mention Ms Tui who was exceptional and did a lot for us to make our stay very memorable inc one not so good day where my wife had to visit the hospital on the mainland a 6 hr round trip to find flowers and a card waiting for her in our room. Can't remember the name but thanks also to the lady on reception who contacted the GP. Excellent service throughout.

Our stay at the Avani was a total delight! It is the perfect retreat on Koh Lanta. The staff is attentive and accommodating making great local recommendations especially Yong at the front desk. The food was impressive and fresh. The resort itself is clean and beautiful. I did not have my kids with me but the resort seems quite family friendly but still a quiet retreat. Such a gem, stay here!!

We loved our room. The shower was huge and fabulous to look out of the huge window to the sea whilst showering. Well worth paying the extra for a sea view room ! The toiletries were top notch ! Big huge bath towels. Plenty of complimentary water every day to use. The use of the buggy to and from the reception to the pool/restaurant was essential as very steep hills, but we never had to wait too long. We loved the breakfast and the staff were very friendly and helpful with my gluten allergy. We also loved the little private beach which was an added bonus ! Taxi’s readily available outside the hotel but you MUST barter as the hotel taxi service was the same amount.

We absolutely loved our sea view corner room. The facilities were all excellent apart from one BIG thing ! The bed ! It was like lying on a steel rack. Extremely uncomfortable and after 3 nights I had to complain as wee were there for a total of 10 nights. My back couldn’t take one more night so I asked reception what they could do. They obliged by putting a topper on the bed but it didn’t make it that much more comfortable

Beautiful resort in Koh Lanta. The stay was very relaxing. Staffs were friendly with genuine service and hospitality. Food and drinks were delicious. The Rock bar had a breathtaking view of sunset. It’s a true paradise here. Highly recommended to all.

This was our first time to the island and we could not have picked a better hotel that met all our needs ,from check in to check out it was an absolute joy ,for us this was the biggest standard room we have ever stayed in ,the bathroom was so big it had a dressing table and chair in it. Au our made made us smile every morning with here toweling sculpture . As the hotel was built into a hilside making it hard to walk round if you weren’t all that fit,but for those people they had a great buggy service . Our thanks goes out to Net an his team in the restaurant ,the buffet was good for adults with a great selection ,we only had one glitch for our only evening meal ,after we had ordered our mains it took 35 minutes to come up,and tepid The deck bar missed a trick not having a happy our Overall our opinion was very pleased to have stayed here
