Avani Plus Koh Lanta Krabi Resort

This hotel is a tropical retreat. As someone who has never stayed in Thailand before I was amazed at all the wildlife noises - cicadas, birds, monkeys, frogs. It was magical. We had a swim-up room (1121) which was quite shady in the afternoon and evening but I didn’t mind at it was so hot. The pools were quiet and sunbeds comfortable. We liked the location, it had direct access to a large sandy beach and a small rocky beach. The sea water was like a warm bath. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. Food and service were excellent. A memorable stay.

Beautiful resort in great location. Staff were very helpful and accommodating given current travel uncertainties. Food quality was good and consistent (especially the buffet breakfast).

This is a peaceful place located not far from the pier, the room is specious and clean, the breakfast is great. There is a private beach in front of the hotel, also there are 2 swimming pools. Front desk staff Dada is very friendly and gave us a good recoomendation for local food.

The resort is amazing, with a beautiful natural atmosphere. The room was beautiful and very convenient, and most importantly, the staff - every employee was kind and willing to help. Special thanks to Mr. Tian for his hospitality and care.

Great beachside property with fantastic sunset zone. Unparallel beach n search won't allow you to leave d property. Food in breakfast zone were fantastic with great variety and taste. Pools were great so d Pool Bar. Service within d property were excellent and fast.

Really beautiful setting on a peninsula - lovely pool and private beach, decent brekkie and big room.

Couple things, our shower handle unit kept breaking, one of the running machines didn’t work and small thing but we didn’t like the music played by the pool - it was a bit eurotrash. The hotel is a little tired in general so overall we thought it was expensive for what it was and have experienced in the rest of thialand but the staff are super friendly and the rock bar for sundowners was a real vibe

Professional Front Desk persons who greeted us in great mood n ease. Reaching our room to comfort and guiding us for all purpose were fantastic.

The "Rocks" restaurant/bar was great for sunset. Food and drinks were delicious. Breakfast, pool and happy hour were great. Hotel was able to book tours for us which was nice. We could walk to beach restaurants and bars. They were a bit far but very walkable - 30 minutes max. Taxis always available. Day trip to Koh Lanta city (old town) arranged through hotel was easy and a wonderful destination for shopping and food.

Bed in original room was terrible. Asked them to change out mattress because it sank in the middle. They were able to move our room which was a pain but new room was very nice and mattress was much better. They did what they could to eliminate the problem for which were were very thankful. Original mattress should be tossed -- really uncomfortable. Their response was top notch.
