Lovely old building. Liked the downstairs guest lounge. Nice to have an opportunity to sit in the cool although a fan was provided in the room (it was a bit hotter as our room was upstairs) Easy self cgeck-in.

There was a flashing clock on the bathroom mirror. No big deal really just a bit annoying and we shd have mentioned it to reception but only there 1 night.

Lovely building, location, super friendly and accommodating staff and owners.

Breakfast not on site. Need to drive to town with provided vouchers. However the breakfast was very good

The actual place is idyllic, beautiful old building tastefully renovated. Staff very lovely and welcoming. Great location but a little out of town so car or taxi needed to get into Dol, otherwise about 30 mins to walk. Lovely little tranquil garden to sit outside and snug snug for cosy sitting around the fire. you can either have continental breakfast on site or have vouchers for breakfast in town....we went into town and it was very tasty. Great hot chocolate.

Unfortunately the sauna and jacuzzi weren't hot when we arrived..thesr are.also located in a place with little view....we had a smell of newly corked bathroom (I appreciate maintenance has to happen but try using some less potent items or fully ventilate the room afterwards.... Although the bed itself was really comfortable, the pillows were too high and hard for me (memory foam) and it was too late to ask for any different ones when we went to bed. Always good to have an option of a soft spare....great idea for kitchen cabinet but the fridge made quite a lot of noise in the night and, for some reason, the TV randomly turned on in the middle of the night too. We only stayed for one night and it is lovely so don't be put off. If we'd stayed longer I would've just had a word with reception and I'm sure they would have fixed all for us.
