Dolgun Uchaf Guesthouse

The house, location and views were amazing. The outdoor area and furniture was great for families. The rooms were lovely and comfy. The games rooms were awesome for the kids. It was just set up so well for families. Loved the free firewood and how the fir was all set up, lovely touches. We all had a great time...We will be back!

The kitchen just cook have had more utensils and equipment. We love to cook and it didn't always have all of the things we needed to cook big family dinners and the roast on the Sunday.

The tranquility of being in the countryside, great walks, local garage with shop.

I think there were private living quarters next to our room, we had room 2, and late at night and awful lot of bumping and banging going on as if they had the builders in, it was up to midnight.

Dolgellau is a fantastic small town with lots of amenities- co-op is good for food, shops are well stocked with bakery items and restaurants are reasonably priced- people are very friendly and helpful with directions etc, play ground for children is fully functional and area is in beautiful location- lane is excellent or running and walk about half way down through woods by waterfalls is like going back to the shire- kept expecting to see hobbits round the corner.

The hot tub is very large and fun- they recommend 1 & 1/2 bags of wood to get it up to temp, but it was starting from cold so we needed both bags provided and we boosted it every day with another bags worth of wood sourced from the roadside (there's plenty of dry dead wood to utilise from the hedge rows- you may need to ask reception for fire lighters as there were none provided for us although we managed with a cornflakes packet)

Geen koelkast in de kamer. Maar ik heb ook niet gevraagd naar de mogelijkheden om mijn spullen elders te koelen.
