"A hidden gem"

It is a hidden gem. Located in a fantastic place near a canal, which was an additional attraction for us. The people are friendly and the food was good. They allowed us to stay longer than usual. The Inn has plenty of parking spaces. A wonderful place for a family.

The room size was good for five people. However, they need to improve the toilet fittings. The flash was loose and not properly working. Also the hot water tap was not properly fitted.

Clean and convenient - staff were lovely.

"Disappointed"

Breakfast was lovely, and the bed was very comfy.

Check-in was from 2 pm. We arrived at 3.15 and the room was not ready. We were offered drinks, which I accepted, wrongly thinking this was complimentary. However, we was then charged. We waited till 4pm and still the room was not ready, we had a wedding at 5pm and due not having the room till 4.15 we run late. On entering the room there was no dressing table or freestanding mirror as pictured in the photos, so I had to request this to get ready. We were told the room had been damaged the night before. However, I do not feel the hotel compensated us for the inconvenience.

"Welcoming, friendly and lovely hotel, beautiful riverside setting"

Beautiful location, lovely room, spacious , clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Riverside setting was wonderful. I love that dogs are allowed although I didn’t bring mine but would if I stayed again.

Only little things, there should have been hooks for towels in the bathroom, the tomato and mushroom at breakfast were undercooked but otherwise breakfast was good. Understaffed at breakfast (only one person seemed to be doing everything, they were v accommodating but it it must have been stressful for them.

The place was quite and peaceful with the wonderfull view of nature.

They charged me extra 3 pounds for each breakfast served for 3 person, i.e I had to pay extra 9 pounds for the breakfast which was supposed to be free. They could have warned me earlier before ordering.
