Staff very friendly and helpful, put themselves out to cook out of kitchen hours, as we got caught in traffic on M20 and arrived very late. Food was amazing. Thank you!

Lovely room, clean, comfortable, lovely location next to the river. Good little folk band on in the evening. Great breakfast

Setting right by the river is beautiful. Food is good, both dinner and breakfast. Staff very friendly. Bedroom very comfortable. Boat trip was so relaxing.

It was a busy weekend and two staff were run off their feet on Saturday evening having stayed to do extra shifts. Had run out of yoghurt and fruit at breakfast.

Awful did not stay, was put in bulldog room full of cobwebs, broken toilet seat, no towels, quilt bedding unironed so creased? Looked like someone had already slept in it and appauling. Whole room smelt dog, tried to discuss but not helpful, very bad experience. False advertising, would not recommend and not habitable to stay. Plugs dangerous over loads, shocking. Do hope rebate as so shocked after 5hrs travel.

Room was large and clean with a balcony overlooking the river

Tried to ring the hotel three times before visiting but the phone was not answered. Got off to a shaky start when checking in. No staff were on reception so I queued at the bar and my wife waited at reception where staff went past but did not acknowledge her. We waited over 30 minutes before being shown to our room. All staff we spoke to were friendly, polite and apologetic for the wait. Breakfast was ok but not great. I have not stayed anywhere previously where there has been an additional charge for a full English breakfast - £3.00 at this hotel. However, the half breakfast was adequate for me although the mushroom served was raw.
