Mountain Spirit Resort

Our room was very nice and clean and a nice space. We thought we would have two beds and ended up with one (and a very uncomfortable pull out bed). We also liked the secured parking. A bit of a winding (could be confusing without Google maps) way to find this place.

We have booked through VRBO/Home Away previously. Somehow, this time we were charged in USD rather than CAD (upon confirmation of payment, "USD" was listed in small font under the amount. We thought it was CAD. Buyer Beware.). Also, the charge was immediately non refundable once booked which previously was never the case. It appears there is a parent company called Travelscape that we inadvertently booked through which others have reviewed negatively as well. I will think twice next time about booking through any of these companies as the rate charged was was way more than we expected. Mountain Spirit Resort was a fantastic place to stay and the woman who checked us in, Carolyn, went above and beyond in trying to help sort out the price issue. We would stay again but would be very wary in booking through these websites.

Lovely resort just minutes from the Platzl and downtown Kimberley. The facilities were overall great: clean, up-to-date, front desk staff were very helpful. A beautiful location with plenty of outdoor access, pathways to a small playground, golf nearby (and skiing, depending on the season). Probably the only downside was the hot-tub/spa was not hot, and the pool was even colder - however, for our small child, the hot-tub was large enough to swim in.

Everything was fine. But the toilet bowl was dirty. There were toilet paper in there when I first entered the room

A ten day trip visiting family in BC who originally lived in Kimberley. Restful time

Location was great , only a couple of min to get to town . Wish the pool area could’ve been bigger and have more lounge chairs out . Overall would definitely stay again .

This property is situated on the ski hill at Kimberly and although we stayed there in simmer it was an enjoyable location off the beaten track but mere minutes to the downtown areas of Kimberley.
