Carrington Hotel

The Carrington is just a great hotel. Has everything for an enjoyable mountain stay. No pretense just old world charm and elegance.

The decor, large rooms, warmth, dining options, charm.

Fantastic old hotel. Very regal and absolutely beautiful. Great location to the train station and three sisters.

Beautiful old heritage hotel. Transported you back in time. Very luxurious.

Great location and vibe

The style and standard of decor and renovations in the hotel are outstanding, a real 'art deco' style and feel. Check in and reception staff were excellent. The bar and shared public areas, e.g. games area, are great.

The room was too hot at the start of winter - had to turn the aircon on despite it being <10c outside. Would be great to open the windows! Some of the cocktails were disappointing, but the staff were lovely.

Loved the old world charm

Bed wasn’t supportive and it dipped in the middle. There should have been better coffee and tea selection in the rooms. There should have been more food options available to buy within the hotel.
