Hotel Signum

Das traditionelle Hotel liegt ruhig, etwas entfernt vom umtriebigen Dorfkern. Es ist angenehm, inmitten dieser alten Baumbestände und mediterranen Gärten zu verweilen. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und die Atmosphäre war entspannt.

Die Preise für das Essen im Bistro fanden wir etwas hoch.

The hotel was in a fabulous location and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our requests. We wished that we had stayed here for the full time of our stay in Salina.

The shower pressure was very low from the overhead shower but otherwise everything was great.

Our room brought tears to my eyes! It was so beautiful with stunning, collectable Italian furniture, beautiful floor tiles, incredible sunrise views over Stromboli. The hotel had everything - the most amazing spa area that we discovered too late, super friendly and attentive staff, incredible Michelin and casual restaurants with the most amazing views. Lush gardens full of herbs, pomegranates, lemons, bergamots and a myriad of sitting areas, all with incredible views. A slight shabbyness which made it feel like you were in someone's old Italian villa. We were all devastated to be leaving after 3 nights. Just beautiful. Any negatives in the one or 2 star reviews we found completely unimportant if you are looking for an authentic, dreamy experience.

Nothing - everything was great

I can't fault the staff or facilities at Hotel Signum. I had booked it for a short weekend getaway with my girlfriend. My only regret is that I didn't book a longer stay. The place is just magical. Individual rooms nestled between groves of lemon trees and flowers. The smells and sounds just exude relaxation and luxury. We had a great deluxe room which ofered some amazing terrace views out onto the coast. Along with the surroundings, I think the only only thing that makes the place more magical is the staff. Everyone from the front of house team to the waiting staff at breakfast and at the Michelin restaurant were so inviting, helpful and friendly. I had been in touch with the Signum team prior to arriving on the trip as I wanted to propose to my girlfriend on Salina. They were so helpful with organising some nice touches and even liasing directly with the phtograpgher I had arranged to work out the best place to propose. The only thing I would say is be mindful that it does take alot of time to get from the airport to the island and so factor that in. This isn't hidden on the hotel websitr, but I didn't fully appreciate it until closer to the time.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were just incredible. Warm, kind, funny and very very cool. You always felt taken care of and as if you are amongst friends. But also you are not overly fussed over. It was a discreet and seamless experience. It was also very peaceful. Then there are the views. The simple but elegant rooms. The gardens. It's just a magical place.

The bistro menu was OK but I suspect the Michelin star menu is much better. If there is a way of blending the two that would be amazing.

Our family of four had an incredible and relaxing stay at Hotel Signum. Our room was beautifully decorated and spacious, perfect for our family of four. It overlooked the beautiful hotel pool and had a private terrace where we could enjoy meals and relax, taking in the amazing views. We made daily use of the hotel pool and on-site spa. The spa has various plunge pools to enjoy, including a natural spring water pool and a hot and cold plunge pool. I would highly recommend booking the hotels spa package. Breakfast each morning was a highlight for our hungry teenagers, who enjoyed a variety of fresh local pastries. The cannoli and pancakes were a big hit. The hotel restaurant is lovely serving fresh local produce, we enjoyed many family dinners and glasses of Grillo on the terrace. Another highlight of our stay was a visit to a local winery and caper farm, which was organized through the hotel. We really enjoyed these experiences as they gave our family an insight into the local culture and cuisine. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and attentive, making our stay truly memorable. A special thanks to Giulio, Graziana, Luca, Rafele, Josephine and Natasha who made us feel right at home. We can’t wait to go back!
